Maintenance Notice – Emergency security updates (“Dirty Frag” vulnerability)

In progress
Schedule
Start Friday May 8, 07:10 (22 hours ago)
End Monday May 11, 07:00 (in 2 days)
Impact
Service may be temporarily unavailable

Due to the recently disclosed Linux vulnerability known as “Dirty Frag”, we will be performing emergency updates across our infrastructure.

As part of these updates, servers may be restarted where necessary throughout the day. This may result in brief interruptions to your hosting server and temporary unavailability of your website(s).

We are doing everything possible to minimize the impact of these urgent maintenance activities. However, given the severity of this vulnerability, it is necessary to act quickly to ensure all servers under our management are properly secured.

We will share further updates here if relevant information becomes available.

We have started upgrading all servers. This is being carried out gradually in a controlled rollout.

Your server, or the server hosting your website(s), may be restarted this evening, which could result in brief periods of unavailability.

We are doing everything possible to minimize the impact. A final update will be posted once all maintenance activities have been completed.

The vulnerability previously referred to as “Dirty Frag” is now officially tracked as CVE-2026-43284, CVE-2026-43500.

We are currently testing the updates released by various operating system vendors. Once the AlmaLinux kernels are moved to the main release channel, we will begin updating servers under our management.

As with last week’s “Copy Fail” vulnerability, updates will be deployed in a controlled rolling stream. This means that a maximum of five servers will be updated at a time, and servers will automatically reboot after the update. This may result in a few minutes of downtime per server.

Where possible, these updates will be carried out during the evening hours to minimize impact.

We expect it may take several hours before all required updates become available. Further updates will be shared here as the situation progresses.

Patches for the various operating systems we use are currently being tested. Once they are confirmed to be stable, we will begin deploying them across all servers under our management.

At this time, no maintenance is being performed on live servers, and you should not experience any interruptions.

We will inform you here as soon as the rollout of these updates begins.
